Larx collects no personal data — all recording and transcription happens on your device, and the app has no internet access. Larx is a voice recorder that works entirely on your device. This policy describes what Larx does — and does not — do with your information. It is deliberately short, because Larx collects almost nothing.

The short version

Larx collects no personal data, sends nothing off your device, and has no internet access at all. Your recordings and transcripts stay on your phone.

What Larx collects

• No data is collected. Larx does not gather, transmit, or store your personal information on any server.
• Your voice recordings, their transcripts, and any generated titles or search index are created and kept only on your device.
• Larx contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking software.

No network access

The Larx app is published without the Android internet permission. This means the app is technically unable to open a network connection — your recordings and transcripts physically cannot leave your device, and Larx cannot send anything to us or to anyone else. This is enforced by the Android operating system, not merely by our settings.

How your data is protected

• Recordings and transcripts are stored encrypted on your device.
• You can delete any recording at any time. Deleting a recording also removes its transcript and search entry.
• Because nothing is stored off your device, there is nothing for us to retain, access, or delete on your behalf.

Third parties

Larx does not share any information with third parties, because it does not collect or transmit any information in the first place.

Children

Larx does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Larx introduces optional features that send data off your device — such as encrypted cloud backup or online transcription — those features will be off by default, will require your explicit consent, and this policy (together with the app's Google Play Data Safety information) will be updated in the same release to describe exactly what is sent and where. The current version of Larx sends nothing.
